Saves the active drawing to disk. If the drawing is new and has not yet been saved, you will be asked to name the file you want to save.

Using the Command

Choose the Save command. If this is your first time to save the drawing, the Save As box appears. Enter the name of the file you want to save and where you want to save it. Then click OK. If you have saved the drawing before, the Save command saves all changes to the drawing since the last time you chose the Save command.

The drawing handles are automatically placed at the lower left, lower right, and upper right front of the drawing. The Set Drawing Handles (see Set Drawing Handles) command can be used to specify the specific handle locations for the drawing.
