  • Cylinder of radius C and plate intersecting at an angle other than 90º.

  • Need to add a fillet of radius F at their intersection.

  • Draw a line (green) at the center of the cylinder.

  • Draw a circle (black) in a plane perpendicular to the centerline at the top of the cylinder.

  • Draw a plane (black) parallel to the top of the plate a distance F above the plate.

  • Extrude the circle along the cylinder's centerline so it intersects with black plane.

  • Draw a line (blue) at the intersection of the black plane and the extruded circle.

  • Delete the circle, it's extrusion and the black plane.

  • Draw perpendicular lines (black) from points on the intersection line (blue) to the cylinder's centerline.

  • Delete the intersection line (blue).

  • Change the length of each of the perpendicular lines (black) to F.

  • From the end of each black line, draw a line perpendicular to the top surface of the red plate.

  • Make the length of these lines (blue) F.

  • Draw a 3 point arc, center at the intersection of the blue and black lines and end points at the opposite ends of the blue and black lines.

  • Delete the blue and black lines

  • Select Draw, Surface Connect. Snap to the end point of one of the arcs. Moving either CW or CCW, snap to the same endpoint of the next arc. Continue in the same direction snapping to each of the remaining arcs and then snap to the same end point on the first arc you selected.

  • Press Enter to complete the command.

  • Delete the arcs and the cylinder's centerline.
