Creating contour lines of fill along a wall.
- This would be a rough contour sketch of fill against a foundation or
retaining wall.
- Put the wall on layer 1 and contours on layer 2.

- To manipulate the curves it's best to first reduce the points with Smooth
Line by Point Reduction
- In this case I used 20 points as the value.
- Now you can easily drag the points to a smoother contour with Points
Mode.

- Contour lines smoothed and reshaped.
- Units for thickness of wall should be .5
- To change Units hit 'U' and snap to 2 lower corners of wall
defining thickness. Then enter .5 in Units dialog.

- Switch to 3D
- Extrude wall 8 units on Y axis.

- Draw a Red line on layer 3 at the corner of the wall as shown and
then use Tick Marks command with the values shown.
- Click on the line and drag the tick marks to the left side

- Select the second contour line and then set a handle (CTRL+H) on the
end of the bottom Tick Mark as shown and hit ENTER.
- For V14 just select the contour line.

- Hit 'M' to initiate MOVE.
- Pre V14 snap on end of second Tick Mark.
- V14 choose REFERENCE on Move dialog and snap on end of bottom Tick
Mark, then snap on end of second Tick Mark.

- Repeat move for each successive contour line raising each one Tick
Mark higher.
- Draw Red line as shown to fill in boundary of top contour line.

- Change color to Green.
- Change layer to 4
- Select Surface Connect and set points in smooth alignment
from top to bottom including Red line.
- You could also snap to ends of the lines, but that could easily
choose the wrong entity in this case.

- Hit ENTER, surface should look like this.

- Smooth shaded and camera view altered ('Y').
- Hide layers 2 and 3 to clean it up.
